EEM2023 is a conference gathering a large number of scientists, researchers and students in different areas of process industry and engineering. Nowadays the progress of human societies is highly dependent on the development of technology, industry and economy. Being the propelling engine for the growth and development, the role of research and the exchange of know-how is increasingly becoming important for society in general.
In order to have a successful cooperation between the industry and academia, the first step is to achieve an effective communication. The industrial sector can put forth the real problems that are encountered in practice and draw attention to those areas and processes that should be improved. Academia, on the other hand, should provide information about its capabilities and try to address the needs of the industry. We find this congress to be a unique opportunity for the exchange of know-how and technologies, considering the large number of representatives of both these communities it has been gathering for the past thirteen years.
We have, therefore, decided to organize a Business-to-Business (B2B) event which would allow representatives of the industry to exchange their ideas with the participants at the congress. This event will certainly encourage both parties to extend their cooperation even further, and bring about new projects and publications, and promote the development of industry in the region and abroad.
All who are interested will be allowed to register for the B2B meeting through an internet platform which will soon be available on our website, and choose who they wish to have a meeting with and what topic will be discussed. The organizer, on the other hand, will be responsible for setting the time, location or platform.
