CA19110 “Plasma applications for smart and sustainable agriculture” -PlAgri

The main aim and objective of the Action is to investigate the potential of non-thermal/cold plasmas as a green alternative to conventional fertilizers in agriculture and to reduce the need for pesticides. The Action will also explore the use of plasmas for treatments of food and its packaging

Training School (TS1) – State-of-the-art in the field of plasma agriculture and food technologies

The main focus of the school will be the state-of-the-art in the field of plasma agriculture. The trainees will have the opportunity to be acquainted with the latest accomplishments which will be presented in such level that trainees from different fields (sciences) can obtain a basic knowledge.

PhD students with knowledge of plasmas, biology, food technology

Dates and location

Due to the present situation and travel restrictions, the TS1 will take place as a hybrid event from 17-19th March 2021. in Hotel Termag, Jahorina, Bosnia and Herzegovina and under the local organization of the University of East Sarajevo (UES) and the Faculty of Technology Zvornik.

To register for the CA19110 Training School on-spot or online attendance participants should register online using REGISTRATION FORM. The deadline for the registration for on-spot and for online is March 16, 2021. After registration, participants will receive a confirmation e-mail and will be timely informed about all details regarding online participation through the Zoom Platform.

Training school fee for on-spot attendance include:

  • Sessions
  • Online access to the Training School material
  • Accommodation in Hotel Termag, Jahorina, BIH (1/1 or 2/1 room) with full board (all meals included)
  • Morning and afternoon refreshments


Students registering for on-spot attendance should send scanned proof of their status (supervisor’s certificate and student ID) by e-mail to the Technical Organizer email: eem-info@tfzv.ues.rs.ba


For on-spot registrations, the Technical Organizer, Happy Travel Agency, will send an e-mail with details for the payment via bank transfer. All bank charges and commissions due to bank transfers have to be paid by the sender. Exceptionally and only with earlier arrangements with the Technical Organizer, the payment could be possible in cash at the registration desk.

Your registration for on-spot attendance will be considered as completed upon completion of an on-line registration and verification of your payment. Please be advised that your registration fee does not include travel insurance, please ensure that you have your own insurance policy before traveling.
